Appletree Skipper Midlength: fast and agile
Introducing the new Apple Skipper Midlength! A sleek, high-performance foil board designed for riders who refuse to be boxed into one discipline.
It shines in lighter wind, prone setups, foil assist (Foil Drive), and as a progression board for wing and parawing.
The Skipper Midlength is built around a displacement hull, inspired by the glide of a canoe. It cuts through water with ease, accelerates effortlessly, and offers early takeoff potential.
Fast starting, outstanding foot control

Mid-length quiver
These boards are designed for versatility.
The smaller sizes are great for riders using electric foil assist system like Foil Drive.
They are also outstanding prone boards and deliver high-performance for experienced wingers and parawingers.
In the mid-range sizes, the boards excel in all-around performance for both wing and
parawing.
Finally, the larger sizes are built for light wind conditions, redefining low-wind
performance for wing and parawing sessions.
The shape has been slightly updated, featuring a longer hard rail for improved water release while preserving the signature Skipper feel. Appletree added extra rocker behind the foil boxes to enhance carving in sharp turns. Across the entire range, the boards are designed to benarrow, maximizing both efficiency and agility in turns. The foil boxes are positioned further forward, reducing swing weight. As a result, when you're on the foil, the boards feel shorter than they actually are since much of the board’s length is behind your back foot.
The board comes with Y setup inserts and comfy deckpads as standard.
Fast and efficient
The Skipper Midlength foil board excels in clean long period swells that just crumble or that don’t even break. To catch these types of waves you need a board that is as fast as possible to match the waves’ speed. The Skipper Midlength is narrow and long, and at the same time it packs quite a bit of volume.
The bottom shape is derived from the downwind board range, so it’s a minimal drag design, without a planning hull. The bottom is completely rounded. This makes the Skipper DW prone extremely efficient through the water so you can reach the foil lift speed with ease.
Board features
Longer and narrow outline
The Skipper Midlength can also be used with a wing in the midrange sizes.
Full carbon construction
As standard, the board comes in the same full carbon construction that you find in the other prone foil boards. Heavier construction as well as colors and designs are available on request.
