Double-skin parawing
Simplified Hybrid Design, Engineered for Comfort and Endless Ocean Miles
At its core, the P.T. LTX introduces a newly developed hybrid airfoil concept featuring approximately 25% chordwise double-surface profile coverage, compared to the P.T. Hybrid’s 50% double-surface chord construction. This carefully optimised reduction in internal structure results in a significantly lighter, more compact wing while preserving a remarkably similar wind range and overall performance envelope.
The design adopts a lower aspect ratio than the P.T. Hybrid, and even slightly lower than the P.T. Skin, with a clear focus on compactness, stability, and intuitive handling. This geometry lets you deploy quickly, pack easily, and stow compactly in any condition, making the P.T. LTX a practical companion for riders who value performance and comfort on long sessions.

WHO IS IT FOR
Positioned precisely between the P.T. Skin and the P.T. Hybrid, the P.T. LTX is designed for riders seeking the best of both worlds. It is the ideal choice for those who value maximum packability and simplified handling, while still wanting the smooth cruising comfort and extended wind range that define the hybrid concept. Its exceptionally short lines make stowing and redeploying remarkably easy, making it a highly practical companion for long, dynamic sessions. At the same time, the optimised canopy design delivers efficient, low-fatigue riding, encouraging longer, more productive sessions on the water. The P.T. LTX is designed for riders who want compact simplicity without sacrificing performance, comfort, or confidence across a wide range of conditions.
Pack it, Stow it, redeploy it!
With its reduced double-surface area, the P.T. LTX was developed with one clear goal: achieving the smallest possible packed size without compromising performance. Combined with the premium lightweight materials that have become a hallmark of Triple Seven products, the result is a wing that stashes effortlessly into an impressively compact pouch. The bar size follows the proven compact dimensions of the P.T. Hybrid, small enough for easy packing yet carefully optimised to deliver precise, intuitive canopy control. The lowered mixer system further enhances practicality, minimising tangles and ensuring smooth, repeatable redeployments, so you can get the wing back in the air quickly and be on your next ride upwind in no time.
Upwind like a king!
Imagine an upwind ride where getting back to the waves doesn’t demand every ounce of your energy. That is exactly what the P.T. LTX is designed to deliver. The proven comfort and smooth ride characteristics of our hybrid concept are very much present here, creating an efficient and composed upwind experience with minimal physical effort. While the P.T. Hybrid remains the ultimate performer when it comes to outright Velocity Made Good, the LTX still proves itself as a highly capable upwind machine, balancing efficiency with simplicity and compactness. The real advantage? Arriving back at your starting point feeling fresh, with energy still in reserve for what truly matters: An epic, fully committed downwind run.
Water Relaunch & Safety
Designed for carefree water use and rapid recovery, the P.T. LTX incorporates our proven full-span water drainage system, which efficiently channels water across the entire canopy, helping the wing quickly regain its shape after contact with the surface. The optimised hybrid canopy architecture, combined with the reduced double-surface construction, minimises water retention and contributes to exceptionally efficient relaunch characteristics. The non-inflatable wingtip design further enhances water behaviour by preventing the tips from instantly catching and anchoring in the water during touch-downs, giving the rider valuable time to regain position and maintain control. Integrated mesh drainage panels further accelerate water shedding, reducing excess weight and drag during recovery. Together, these features create highly predictable behaviour and extremely fast redeployment with virtually no relaunch delay, even in dynamic open-water conditions. The result is a wing that inspires confidence during long offshore runs, demanding downwinders, and real-world sea states where fast recovery and reliable handling are essential for both performance and safety.
Reinforced Canopy Shape
To create a stable and precisely defined three-dimensional canopy, the P.T. LTX integrates multiple advanced structural solutions specifically developed to preserve canopy integrity across an exceptionally wide wind range. The leading edge is reinforced along its full length, ensuring accurate profile definition, improved aerodynamic stability, and consistent behaviour even under heavy load in strong or gusty conditions. This is complemented by a proven internal support architecture carried over from the P.T. Skin platform, including dedicated lightweight plastic reinforcements positioned within the nose section of the internal cell walls. These structural elements help the canopy maintain its optimised airfoil shape under high loads while keeping the overall construction light, compact, and efficient. Additional Gibus Arc reinforcements are strategically integrated into the most highly stressed ribs, optimising load distribution throughout the canopy and translating line forces into clean, coherent tension across the sail. This significantly reduces deformation while maintaining a smooth, stable, wrinkle-free profile, even during aggressive riding or overpowering gusts. The result is a highly compact hybrid wing with exceptional canopy stability, precise handling, and remarkable control at the upper end of its wind range.

Lightweight Construction & Packability
Designed for minimal packing size and fast deployment, the P.T. LTX combines ultra-light 26 g fabric for the canopy and ribs with thin 1.7 mm plastic reinforcement rods to preserve profile accuracy while keeping weight exceptionally low. High-performance spliced aramid composite lines provide outstanding stability, minimal stretch, and reduced drag. Despite its hybrid single- and double-surface construction, the P.T. LTX still packs down into a remarkably compact package, easily stowed in a pouch or wrapped in hand together with the bar, allowing for quick transitions without compromising structural integrity, durability, or overall performance.

Advanced Bar & Line Management System
The LTX features an advanced bar-and-line management system that maximizes control while minimizing complexity on the water. It uses a shorter carbon bar than the P.T. Skin, delivering balanced response, precise handling, and confident wing control in powered conditions. The Hybrid also retains the same proven line length as our P.T. Skin, ensuring compact stowing and reliable, effortless redeployment. A newly developed low-profile line mixer, positioned closer to the bar, reduces line travel and significantly lowers the risk of tangles during handling, packing, and launching. The result is clean line organization and smooth, predictable power transfer.
