Upwind Ready. DownWind Perfected
Single Surface Downwind Parawing
Expanding the ever-growing Triple Seven Kites range, we are proud to introduce the P.T. UDW – a downwind-oriented wing created to showcase the pure beauty of riding with the wind. Designed for experienced wave riders seeking precision and efficiency, the P.T. UDW focuses on control and performance in a highly compact package. Compared to the P.T. Skin, it features a lower aspect ratio that enhances smooth, predictable behavior during downwind runs, wave carving, and technical approaches near the break. Its short lines and single-skin canopy ensure instant relaunch and accurate maneuverability. A lightweight canopy and shorter bar make the wing exceptionally easy to handle and pack away, reinforcing its fast-stow, fast-deploy character. The P.T. UDW is specifically engineered for minimal pack volume and hassle-free handling in demanding wave and downwind conditions where every second counts. Its ultra-thin profile, supported by a maximized front-line structure and low aspect ratio, delivers strong low-end performance in the smallest possible form factor. As a consequence of this compact, efficiency-focused design, the overall wind range and top-end stability are reduced. Advanced riders will appreciate its direct feel, precise input response, and readiness in dynamic sea states. With rapid relaunch, short lines, and an extremely fast pack-down system, the P.T. UDW is always prepared for the next run.
More than just a wing, it represents an invitation to experience downwind riding in its purest, most compact form.
The P.T. UDW delivers exactly that.
You can test them at Foilriders Foiling Test weeks at Lago di Garda 14. April - 10. May 26
The Power of a Compact Shape
The P.T. UDW is built with a smaller aspect ratio, a design choice that unlocks several advantages tailored to downwind riding. Instead of worrying about wing tips diving, you can enjoy a super stable platform that lets you focus entirely on finding and linking the right bumps. This shape also delivers a highly reliable redeployment success rate—meaning that whenever you lose the pull of the wave, the wing will be back in action within moments, keeping your ride smooth and uninterrupted.

Short Lines, Big Lift
The P.T. UDW features a finely supported airfoil with ultra-short lines. This compact setup not only makes stowing quick and effortless, but also ensures exceptional aerodynamic efficiency. Thanks to a carefully engineered line layout, the wing delivers impressive low-end power, giving you that extra grunt when pumping out of the water and onto the foil.

Shorter Bar, Same Triple Seven Feel
The P.T. UDW bar is built from lightweight carbon with a foam-filled core, ensuring it floats when submerged. Thanks to the smaller aspect ratio of the wing, we were able to design a shorter bar that still delivers the signature Triple Seven handling and feel. Its design is simple yet highly efficient, featuring floating B and C lines for an obstacle-free grip. A dedicated front line lengthening system allows you to fine-tune positioning, ensuring the best control and comfort across all flying regimes.
Single-Skin Canopy, Maximum Efficiency
As a premium product, the P.T. UDW is built with the same lightweight D10 material as the P.T. Skin. This reduces the canopy’s overall weight and gives the rider a feather-light feel, making the wing effortless to handle in any riding scenario. The canopy itself is a full single-skin design, created specifically for downwind riders who push the limits and sometimes get a little too close to the break. In those critical moments, the P.T. UDW offers a super-fast, reliable relaunch, keeping you confidently in the flow.
Reinforced Canopy Shape
To create a stable and precisely defined three-dimensional canopy, the P.T. Hybrid integrates multiple advanced structural solutions. The leading edge is reinforced along its full length, ensuring accurate profile definition and shape stability. This is complemented by a proven internal support system carried over from the P.T. Skin, including a dedicated short plastic reinforcement positioned on the internal cell wall in the nose. This feature helps the canopy retain its shape under heavy load in strong winds. Gibus Arc reinforcements further optimize load distribution, translating line forces into clean, coherent tension and maintaining a smooth, wrinkle-free canopy even when highly loaded.
Superior materials
From the start, keeping weight to a minimum was a core principle in the development of the P.T. UDW.
By selecting low-grammage D10 fabric, we were able to craft a more structurally sound canopy—reinforced at the leading edge with plastic supports, essential for achieving strong upwind performance. The lines are made from colored, unsheathed MAGIX PRO DRY Technora® material, renowned for its structural integrity and water-repellent properties. Using a spliced stitching technique, we’ve eliminated external stitching points that could otherwise catch lines while out on the water. The control bar is crafted from carbon and wrapped in a foam layer, delivering a comfortable and secure grip. From the canopy to the bar, every material used in the P.T. UDW is chosen for its superior quality and performance.
